Account & Data Deletion
Dazzles is committed to running a trusted, transparent and customer-focused platform. This page explains the standards, rules and processes that support that commitment.
Dazzles provides users with a clear process to request deletion of their account and associated personal information. This page is intended to remain publicly accessible so that users can understand how deletion works even if they cannot access the app.
1. Request deletion inside the app
- Sign in to your Dazzles account.
- Open the Profile or Account Settings section.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the notice explaining the effect of deletion and confirm the request.
2. Request deletion through the web
If you cannot access the app, you may email your request to dazzlesapp@gmail.com or dazzlesapp@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. For faster handling, include the phone number linked to the account and specify whether you are deleting a customer account, provider account or both.
3. What deletion generally covers
Once a valid request is confirmed, Dazzles will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify account profile data and account access data that is no longer required for lawful operational, security, payment, fraud-prevention, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes.
4. Information that may be retained
Certain information may be retained where reasonably necessary or legally required, including records needed for tax and accounting purposes, payment reconciliation, fraud detection, chargeback handling, platform security, complaint resolution, dispute management and legal compliance.
5. Verification and processing timelines
Dazzles may verify the identity of the requester before processing deletion. We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within a reasonable time and to complete eligible deletion steps as promptly as practicable, subject to technical constraints and lawful retention obligations.
6. Provider-specific records
For provider accounts, some onboarding, verification, payout or compliance-related records may need to be retained for a longer period where required by law, for fraud-prevention, audit or safety-related review, or to resolve claims connected to services already performed.
